FATIGUE
Fatigue and lack of energy are a very common symptom for women in perimenopause. It’s a major challenge to deal with an ongoing low energy state because it affects every aspect of our lives: productivity, moods, relationships, motivation, stress management, and concentration. Due to these broad effects, an ongoing experience of mild fatigue can lead to an even lower level of energy over time – a vicious cycle.
Interrupted sleep from night sweats due to hormonal fluctuations, insomnia without night sweats, unmanaged stress, eating poorly, and neglecting the self-nurture that we need can all lead to fatigue. The effects of potential changes in thyroid function during perimenopause can also create a lack of energy.
Healthy nutrition and the “safety net” of taking high quality nutritional supplements are the best first steps in treating fatigue. Wellness Essentials for Women provide comprehensive nutritional support and convenience for women in a single dose packet.
